The Manyu Elements Cultural Association, commonly known as Meca, plays a pivotal role in preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of the Manyu people in Calgary,Alberta. Established to foster unity and cultural awareness among its members, Meca-Calgary organizes cultural events, educational programs, and community services that highlight the unique traditions and customs of the Manyu community. Through these initiatives, Meca-Calgary not only strengthens bonds among the diaspora but also enhances cultural diversity within the Alberta landscape.
Empower members to better integrate within the Calgary community, Encourage and promote unity, love, loyalty, mutual respect, collective responsibility and cooperation amongst the people of Manyu residing in Calgary and abroad, Network with other MECA branches around the world and Revive, promote, and preserve Manyu cultural events within the association.
We provide programs and services to a community of over 20,000 residences in the Calgary Area and beyond.
Our operations are funded by the support of our donors, members, and other organizations.
